Should i be feeding my chickens laying pellets?

I have 12 laying hens and they are all laying and i have never fed them laying pellets. I feed them home grown wheat, cracked corn, oats, and molet, grass, and scraps. They have nice yellow yolk. Should i be feeding them laying pellets? The only thing keeping me from is because they are organic eggs.
